In celebration of its 30th anniversary, this special edition will be the first time Above is pressed on vinyl variants beyond the traditional black vinyl. With freshly remastered audio for vinyl and lacquers cut by Levi Seitz, the release will feature the original 10 tracks, alongside three tracks with Mark Lanegan on vocals and a special cover of John Lennon’s I Don’t Want To Be a Soldier, with Layne Staley singing lead.

The packaging has been restored to the ’95 artwork with original cover, inside gatefold, back photo, and center labels. Included is a new 20-page 12×12 booklet embossed with the same illustration as album cover with new liner notes from McCready and Martin, additional photos, and song lyrics.
